Jim is a longtime open source enthusiast and developer who first got involved in open source projects in the 1990s. In 1994, Jim started the FreeDOS Project, an open source implementation of the DOS operating system. Jim is also a frequent writer about open source, FreeDOS, Linux, and programming.
